Salasa has released live performance videos of “Shukufuku” and “Fune” from the sold-out finale of her ‘Golden Child Release Tour,’ held in September, on her official YouTube channel.
A singer-songwriter from Shonan, Kanagawa, Salasa debuted in 2021 and has since performed at major domestic and international festivals. In July 2024, she performed for the second time at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL ’24. On September 4th, she released her second album, Golden Child, and successfully completed her first nationwide tour, the ‘Golden Child Tour 2024.’
The live footage released was recorded during the final concert of her tour on September 10th at Tokyo’s Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. The sold-out show captured the electrifying performance with her familiar supporting band members—Genki Ishida (Key/Sax), Kazuki Isogai (Gt), Chisho Matsuura (Dr), and Manami Otsuka (Ba).
Both “Shukufuku” and “Fune” were carefully crafted with attention to their lyrics, and Sarasa herself has shared her deep connection to these tracks in a personal comment accompanying the video release.
“Shukufuku,” a song about finding fleeting happiness amidst sadness, and “Fune,” a song I wrote as a company anthem to celebrate Yutori Inc.’s listing, are two tracks that hold a special place in my heart. The live footage of these songs has now been released. I’m so happy that, even years later, we can look back on my one-man live show at LIQUIDROOM together through these videos. I hope you enjoy them!
