Charlie Puth and Hikaru Utada have released their collaborative track “Home (feat. Hikaru Utada)” on March 10. A music video featuring both artists has also been unveiled.
The release arrives as Charlie Puth approaches the 10th anniversary of his debut in 2026. The collaboration with Utada came together after Puth reached out through a mutual acquaintance, a music producer who connected the two artists.
“Home” was written by Puth for his wife, with tender, heartfelt lyrics that evoke a sense of comfort and intimacy. The newly released music video mirrors that mood, pairing the song’s warmth with a subtly bittersweet visual atmosphere.
“Home (feat. Hikaru Utada)” will appear on Charlie Puth’s fourth studio album Whatever’s Clever!, set for release on March 27. Inspired by the sound and spirit of the 1980s, the album features a star-studded lineup of guest artists including Hikaru Utada, Jeff Goldblum, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins and Kenny G.
