YOASOBI Unveils ASICS SportStyle Collaboration and Campaign Film

YOASOBI has unveiled a new collaboration with ASICS, teaming up with the brand’s lifestyle line ASICS SportStyle for a limited capsule collection. The launch arrives alongside a main campaign film featuring the duo.

The collection spans six items: sneakers, a knit jacket, knit pants, a hoodie, a logo cap and logo socks. YOASOBI members Ayase and Ikura were closely involved from concept through product development, working with ASICS designers and engineers to shape the final pieces. A special collaborative logo combining the ASICS SportStyle mark with YOASOBI’s own branding appears across the lineup.

At the center of the collection is a sneaker based on the ASICS GEL-KINETIC FLUENT, reworked as the collaboration model “GEL-KINETIC FLUENT Y.” The upper incorporates design cues from the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14, while a “Y” engraving at the toe nods to YOASOBI’s name. Additional details include a tube-shaped component embedded with the phrase “JUST A LITTLE STEP” and a heel tag inspired by a bookmark motif — a subtle reference to the duo’s storytelling-driven creative process.

The collection is built around the concept “JUST A LITTLE STEP,” taken from the English title of YOASOBI’s song. The phrase reflects the idea that even a small step in everyday life can spark movement in both mind and body.

The items will go on sale from March 19 at the ASICS FLAGSHIP HARAJUKU, ASICS GRAND FRONT OSAKA, the ASICS online store and the YOASOBI Online Store. The sneakers will also be available through a lottery sale for paid members of YOASOBI’s official fan club, “YOA’S.”

To mark the launch, the ASICS FLAGSHIP HARAJUKU will host a special in-store display from March 14 to March 29, blending the visual worlds of YOASOBI and ASICS SportStyle.
