Shintaro Sakamoto has announced a nationwide tour, “Shintaro Sakamoto LIVE 2026 ‘Yoo-hoo’ Tour,” in support of his latest album.
The tour follows the release of his fifth studio album, Yahho, which dropped on January 23. Kicking off on May 5 at Kanagawa Prefectural Music Hall, the tour will hit seven cities across Japan, including Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo, Okinawa, and Fukuoka. The Sendai date marks Sakamoto’s first-ever performance in the city.
After a standout 2025 that saw Sakamoto tour the United States and perform across four Asian countries, the 2026 run continues his growing international momentum. Joining him on stage are AYA (bass, backing vocals), Yuta Suganuma (drums, backing vocals), and Toru Nishiuchi (saxophone, flute).
Tickets go on sale February 5 at 8:00 PM (JST).
