BIAS & RELAX will host the next edition of ambient room on May 9 at Daikanyama UNIT, continuing the event’s quietly influential run since launching in 2023.
The series made headlines in 2025 when D.A.N. staged their first live performance after resuming activities in a surprise set. Now, ambient room returns with another tightly curated lineup that bridges ambient, experimental, hip hop, and introspective songcraft.
Takuro Okada leads the bill with his celebrated Sextet formation, bringing the six piece band set that recently drew acclaim at his WWW one man show. Longtime ambient room fixture maya ongaku will appear with a specially conceived meditation live set, promising a fully immersive experience tailored to the night.
Also confirmed is Satomimagae, whose album taba was released via US label RVNG Intl., cementing her global presence in the sadcore landscape. Expanding the event’s sonic spectrum further, hip hop beatmaker BudaMunk joins the lineup with a live set, marking a fresh direction for the series.
Tickets are now available, with advance applications open until February 23 at 11:59 pm.
