The iconic Ultraman series is celebrating its 60th anniversary with “ULTRAMAN EXHIBITION – 60th Anniversary of the Ultraman Series,” a large-scale special exhibition set to tour Japan in 2026, with stops confirmed in Osaka, Fukuoka, and Kanagawa.
Launched to commemorate 60 years since Ultraman’s first televised broadcast on July 10, 1966, the exhibition serves as the centerpiece of the Ultraman Series 60th Anniversary Project. Visitors can expect a sweeping look back at six decades of Ultraman history, featuring more than 50 titles from the franchise, alongside legendary Ultraman heroes and Ultra Kaiju.
Highlights include newly designed dioramas, anniversary photo spots, and immersive 3D video installations that place visitors directly inside the Ultraman universe. A fan-driven project titled “Photos of Your Memories with Ultraman” will also invite audiences to share their personal Ultraman moments, with further details to be revealed.
A teaser visual released with the announcement brings together three era-defining heroes—Ultraman (Showa), Ultraman Tiga (Heisei), and Ultraman Zero (New Generation) — symbolizing the franchise’s enduring legacy across generations.
The tour kicks off at Hirakata Park in Osaka from April 18 to June 28, continues to Kitakyushu from July 10 to August 30, and wraps up in Yokohama at Red Brick Warehouse No.1 from September 5 to 27. Ticket details and additional tour dates will be announced soon.
