Two soundtrack albums from the hit word-puzzle game ”Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan” have just dropped, now streaming as of December 3.
To mark 24 years since the series first launched in 2001, Bandai Namco Game Music is celebrating with a pair of official releases packed with nostalgia, deep cuts, and fan-favorite tracks.
The first album, ”Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Original Soundtrack,” brings together iconic songs from the series, including the irresistibly catchy ”Futari no Mojipittan” — yes, the one with the “pittan tantan mojipittan” hook that gets stuck in your head for days. It also features ”Jumon o Ageru yo,” sung by Nana Furuhara, along with a wide selection of classics.
The second release, ”Kotoba no Puzzle Mojipittan Daijiten Original Soundtrack,” turns up the charm with 25 tracks themed around “stylish, cute, and pop.” Fans will also find fresh remixes, including Yasutaka Nakata’s take on ”Futari no Mojipittan (fine c’est la mix),” Tomonori Hayashibe’s ”Words Words no Mahou (easter egg mix),” and Akira Suzuki’s ”Piacevole! (PEPPERMINT MIX).”
Both albums are now available to stream.
