Starting January 30, 2026, Universal Studios Japan will open a limited-time version of its popular “Space Fantasy – The Ride,” fully supervised and remixed by world-renowned DJ Zedd.
The music-synced coaster matches every movement to Zedd’s original tracks, including “Break Free (feat. Zedd)” and “Clarity (feat. Foxes),” as riders speed through a cosmic world illuminated with vibrant lights and lasers.
The entire ride course has been redesigned with EDM-driven lighting for enhanced immersion. The queue features a Zedd-curated playlist and a special video appearance by the DJ, building excitement before boarding.
The attraction will operate until August 17, 2026.

Story
The popular Space Fantasy – The Ride returns as Club Zedd, a cosmic club crafted by world-renowned DJ Zedd. Known for its immense popularity, entry is usually impossible—but for this special edition, Zedd invites guests as VIPs.
Riders board the “Space Pod,” traveling through a vast cosmic world perfectly synced with Zedd’s music. Guests will race through a glittering galaxy, feel every beat of Zedd’s tracks, and experience the ultimate “Break Free” journey into space.
