A special exhibition celebrating Oasis’s Japan visit, “Oasis Film & Posters 1994/2025,” opens on October 17 at New Gallery in Jimbocho, Tokyo, and runs through October 26. The showcase offers fans a rare opportunity to experience Oasis’s first-ever live performance in Japan, held in Shibuya in 1994, now presented in 4K digital remaster using Sony PCL’s RS+ technology. Three songs will be screened, including previously unseen cuts that were not part of the original Space Shower TV broadcast.
The exhibition also connects with Oasis’s UK-based official art project, “Oasis Historic Gig Art Poster,” which reinterprets historic gigs through contemporary visuals. The series, presented in London, New York, and Tokyo, transforms the 1994 Tokyo debut into an immersive experience that can be both seen and owned.
In addition to the exhibition, MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya is hosting Japan’s first official Oasis pop-up store, “Oasis Live ʻ25 Tokyo Fan Store,” until November 2. The store offers official tour merchandise, Japan-exclusive items, and the Tokyo edition of the limited-color T-shirt series, “TOKYO CITY.” Entry is primarily reservation-based.
Fans of the band and collectors alike have the chance to revisit a historic moment in Oasis’s career, now revitalized through modern technology and contemporary design.
