Toko Miura digitally released her third original EP, condominium, on Wednesday, October 22.
The EP features key collaborators who have been part of Miura’s creative and live projects since 2022, including Kiichi Arimoto (ODD Foot Works) and Tomomi Oda (CRCK/LCKS), along with members of her 2024–2025 Billboard Live Tour—Ren Yamamoto and Shunsuke Uehara—and TiMT, who arranged her 2021 release Tsūkaten.
The five-track EP includes “Suppin,” a music video released last October, the lead track “Hōkiboshi,” Miura’s first self-written and composed song “Namida,” and the band-driven tracks “Rinjin” and “Homesick.” Environmental soundscapes arranged by Taku Unami connect the tracks, giving the EP a cohesive flow. Total production is handled by Kiichi Arimoto, who ensures a polished sound that still reflects Miura’s personal experiences, landscapes, and emotions, giving each song a distinct warmth and everyday intimacy.
Pre-saves and streams are now available on Spotify and Apple Music, and Miura has shared a message about the release.
This work is a tapestry of myself across time — voice memos from high school (long ago), diaries from my early twenties (a somewhat recent past), and the feelings I carry now, on the verge of thirty (the present). Each fragment, chosen without pretense, has been woven together into a story that quietly emerged on its own.
I imagined the landscapes that might connect these moments, blending them with the sounds of everyday life. With the guidance and care of friends I deeply respect, and through a process that was nothing but joy, I have finally reached the moment to share these pieces with you.
Created like a series of five linked short stories, I hope you’ll experience them as a whole.
