Yuki Chiba’s new song, “Shiawasettenani?,” was digitally released on October 8, 2025, through Warner Music Japan, accompanied by a music video on YouTube.
In July 2025, Chiba signed a comprehensive contract with Warner Music covering all aspects of his music activities and relocated his base of operations to Los Angeles, USA. “Shiawasettenani?” marks his first release under Warner Music Japan.
The song also serves as the theme for the upcoming drama starring Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, airing on Kansai TV and Fuji TV from October 13. The drama tells the story of a man who, after losing his wife, raises his young son while working as a professional organizer of personal belongings, supporting grieving families alongside his colleagues. Chiba’s song quietly underscores the drama’s themes, exploring life, death, and the meaning of happiness.
The music video, directed by Rie Konno, presents a lyrical depiction of two people existing in the same world yet unable to meet, weaving a poetic visual narrative that mirrors the song’s introspective mood.
