Nulbarich Vocalist Jeremy Quartus Releases New Track “Beat Tub (Prod. STUTS)”

Jeremy Quartus released his single “Beat Tub (Prod. STUTS)” on Wednesday, September 24.

Jeremy Quartus is the solo project of JQ, the vocalist of Nulbarich, who paused activities in 2024. The track features production by STUTS, who also handled the mixing. The song flows with mellow, early-2000s-inspired hip-hop and R&B vibes, paired with vivid, narrative lyrics and a catchy hook. Thematically, the track evokes “a sense of escape from reality, like soaking in a bathtub.”

The music video for the single premiered on Wednesday, September 24, at 9:00 PM. Combining CGI, lasers, and smoke effects, the video visualizes a feeling of weightlessness, floating, and liberation from reality.

I had a great time working with JQ for the first time, and I learned a lot from watching his production process up close. I learned a lot from watching JQ’s production process up close and personal, and thematically, I put my love for beats of all kinds in the mix. The mixing was a lot of fun, and the mastering by molmol was great.
