Free Two-Day Music Festival ‘TAMARIBA 2025’ Set Along the Tama River

The “Tamagawa Riverside Festival TAMARIBA 2025” is set to take place on November 2 (Sunday) and 3 (Monday, holiday) at the Izumi Tamagawa riverbed in Komae City, Tokyo.

Now in its seventh year, this free, community-focused festival offers a unique blend of music and visual experiences framed by the scenic Tama River. With the theme “River flows, life slows,” TAMARIBA 2025 aims to provide visitors with a chance to relax and unwind, enjoying the natural riverside environment alongside live performances and immersive visual displays.

Performing artists include 11 notable acts on the TAMARIBA stage, such as Sakura Fujiwara, Arata Manako who made waves at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2025, Tadahiro, Anna Takeuchi, HIROSHI from FIVE NEW OLD, and YonYon. On the Marcus stage, nine artists including Masafumi Isobe from HUSKING BEE and Shoichi Igari from tacica will deliver special performances from the same level as the audience, creating a more intimate experience.

On Sunday, November 2, the Hulu original omnibus drama Hold Your Breath will be screened, set along the Tama River. Following the screening, director Ryutaro Nakagawa and the cast will participate in a talk session.

In addition, the festival will feature riverside-specific activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, foot baths, outdoor acupuncture, and head massages. More than 60 food stalls, shops, and workshops will also be available, offering attractions that can be enjoyed by all ages.
