RADWIMPS has announced that their upcoming album, Anew, will be released on Wednesday, October 8. The album includes 12 tracks, featuring 10 previously unreleased songs, the NHK morning drama Anpan theme Tamamono, and Meidai, the theme song for Nippon TV’s news zero.
Alongside the standard album, RADWIMPS will release a 20th Anniversary Special Box, which contains full studio live footage, behind-the-scenes making-of content, and interviews. It also features selected performances from the band’s August 2007 Yokohama Arena live show September Madajan., including September-san, Inaseki, and Moshimo. In addition, four live recordings of recent tracks, including Tamamono and Meidai, performed at this year’s FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, are included.
The special box also comes with an original pouch containing three commemorative items designed for the band’s 20th anniversary. The set will be available exclusively through Larirecord and the UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE in limited quantities.
