“Look Back” Theatrical Anime Exhibition — Kiyotaka Oshiyama: Emotions in Lines will be held from Friday, January 16, 2026, to Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Azabudai Hills Gallery (Azabudai Hills Garden Plaza A, MB Floor) in Minato Ward, Tokyo.
Based on the manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto, the film has a short runtime of 58 minutes but achieved a total box office of over ¥4.4 billion [approx. $30 million USD], garnering attention both in Japan and internationally.
The exhibition is personally curated by director Kiyotaka Oshiyama, focusing on how he and the creators involved translated the original manga’s world into animation. Visitors can explore the creative process and attention to detail that transformed the comic into an animated work.
