Celebrating her 20th anniversary, the character Kuromi will debut as a major-label artist under the name KUROMI this October with TOY’S FACTORY. Ahead of her debut, the music video for her new track “KUROMI♡Profile” premiered on KUROMI/Kuromi’s official YouTube channel. The song will also be available on all major streaming and download platforms starting at midnight on Wednesday, September 10.
Set to appear on KUROMI’s first EP, “KUROMI IN MY HEAD” (released Wednesday, October 22), the track marks Satomi Shigemori’s first songwriting contribution, with composition and arrangement by MAPLE HONEY. Combining heartfelt lyrics that reflect KUROMI’s authentic self with punchy rap and infectious pop melodies over a rich, layered sound, the song showcases her unique style.
The music video captures KUROMI reflecting on herself while filling out a profile notebook. Featuring a variety of outfits ranging from cool to girly, the MV highlights her candid personality, showing her laughing, crying, and expressing herself freely.
