The final lineup for ”Kyoto Music Expo 2025 in Umekoji Park” has been revealed.
Hosted by Kyoto-born band Quruli, the festival will take place on Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12. The latest additions include the Shigeru Kishida String Quartet, performing on both days, and Ichiko Aoba, who will appear on the second day. With all artists confirmed, the first day features Quruli, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, [Alexandros], Omoinotake, Shigeru Kishida String Quartet, Motoharu Sano & THE COYOTE BAND, and 10-FEET. The second day lineup includes Quruli, Ichiko Aoba, ASKA, Shigeru Kishida String Quartet, SHISHAMO, Macaroni Empitsu, and RIP SLYME.
Third-round pre-orders through e+ are open until Monday, August 25 at 23:59. Official merchandise, including T-shirts and tote bags, is available for pre-sale at the Quruli A!SMART store until Sunday, August 31 at 23:59.
Accommodation package tickets are also on sale. These include packages with the already sold-out two-day pass, as well as special bundles featuring original event goods and exclusive Kyoto Music Expo items such as a limited-edition goshuincho stamp book.
Now in its eighth year, the festival continues its crowdfunding initiative, the “Resources Go Quruli Project.” The project installs composting facilities at Umekoji Park, turning leftover food from the festival’s food area into fertilizer. Beyond enjoying music, the initiative encourages attendees to engage with environmental and social issues, promoting a more sustainable future.
