The “Itaru Hirama Exhibition -PHOTO SONGS-” will be held at Hikarie Hall Hall B in Shibuya Hikarie, Tokyo, from July 8.
Itaru Hirama will celebrate his 30th anniversary as a photographer in 2020. This exhibition is based on the theme of “Photography and Music,” and is a reconstruction of the exhibitions held in Kyoto and Roppongi in 2022, with new works added.
In addition to portraits of artists taken for Tower Records’ “NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.” campaign and CD jackets, over 200 works will be on display, including Min Tanaka’s “Ba Odori” series and works taken at “Hirama Photo Studio TOKYO,” which Hirama opened in Mishuku in 2015.
