The beloved Kakubarhythm Summer Festival is set to return on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at CLUB QUATTRO in Shibuya, Tokyo. Hosted annually by the independent label Kakubarhythm, the event marks its third consecutive year at the iconic live venue.
This year’s lineup features a diverse group of four acts. Kicell, whose 2025 album Kantenbōki has been drawing acclaim, will take the stage alongside Shappo, currently in the spotlight with their debut album a one & a two and a string of sold-out tour dates. Also performing is Diorama Scene, the solo project of Tsubasa Hashimoto, guitarist of cero, and Blah Bruh, an ambient-folk trio consisting of Narutomo Yoshizawa, Hiroki Chiba, and Wataru Mitsunaga.
Adding to the festivities, DJ sets will come from Skirt’s Wataru Sawabe and Kakubarhythm founder Wataru Kakubari.
Advance ticket applications are now open and will be accepted through Tuesday, July 22.
