Korean five-member girl group i-dle will host a pop-up event from Thursday, July 3 to Sunday, July 13 at the B1 level of LINE FRIENDS SQUARE SHIBUYA in Tokyo.
Debuting in 2018 as (G)I-DLE, the group began operating under their current name, i-dle, in May 2025. They released their 8th mini-album We Are on May 19 and are set to perform at SUMMER SONIC 2025 this August. In October, the group will kick off their first-ever Japan tour, tentatively titled i-dle first japan tour, signaling an active year for their Japanese promotions.
The pop-up will showcase a range of merchandise tied to i-dle’s latest album, along with new items featuring “i-dle minini,” a character born from the group’s collaboration with LINE FRIENDS. The lineup includes plush toys, keyrings, and acrylic stands, all designed to reflect the album’s concept—complete with i-dle minini characters sporting black ribbons.
Inside the venue’s media zone, fans can watch music videos for the new tracks “Girlfriend” and “Good Thing” on a large screen, alongside a photo wall featuring the i-dle minini characters. A free receipt photo booth and dedicated photo spots will also be available for visitors.
The merchandise will be available not only at the pop-up, but also online through the LINE FRIENDS SQUARE store and at the “K-POP SQUARE by LINE FRIENDS” section inside Umeda Loft. Purchases are limited to five units per item, and shoppers who spend over ¥5,500 (tax included) will receive one randomly selected photo card from a set of 20. Quantities are limited and distribution will end once stock is gone.
