The upcoming music event JAZZ NOT ONLY JAZZ Ⅱ, set for September 18 at Tokyo International Forum in Yurakucho, has unveiled its second wave of performers, adding two of Japan’s most compelling artists to an already impressive roster.
Ringo Sheena, celebrated for her singular musical style and influence on Japan’s music scene, and Kaho Nakamura, whose expressive power has captivated audiences, will join the acclaimed lineup that includes AiNA THE END, Yasuyuki Okamura, Terumasa Hino, and Robert Glasper. These artists will collaborate with The Shun Ishiwaka Septet, led by drummer Shun Ishiwaka, promising unique live session performances.
In a first for the event, the immersive d&b Soundscape audio system will be employed. This cutting-edge technology allows sound to be delivered directly from the stage performers, creating a seamless match between what the audience sees and hears, resulting in a deeply engaging and immersive listening experience.
