SAGOSAID’s latest mini-album, ‘itsumademo shinu noha kowai ?’, was released on CD on June 18, 2025.
SAGOSAID is a solo artist known for delivering alternative and indie rock sounds through a full band setup. Based in Tokyo’s Nishi-Chofu area, where they also operate the music studio “Studio REIMEI,” SAGOSAID has consistently put out music, including the 2021 album ‘REIMEI’ and 2023’s ‘Tough Love Therapy.’
The mini-album, which was digitally released on May 21, features six tracks such as “Am I afraid of dying?”, “iimmaaggee,” and “dance / wings.” Recording sessions included live support musicians from VINCE;NT and Veranda, while mastering was handled by Emily Lazar, a Grammy Award-winning engineer recognized for her work on Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
SAGOSAID is currently on a release tour for the new album, performing in four cities: Hiroshima, Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo. Along with the CD release, new guest acts have been announced, with by the end of summer and pile of hex joining the Osaka show. Tickets for this performance are now on sale. Additionally, SAGOSAID is scheduled to appear at the free-entry event ‘exPoP!!!!! Vol.175,’ hosted by NiEW, on July 18 (Friday) at Spotify O-nest in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Additionally, SAGOSAID has released their first vlog documenting the release party held on Thursday, June 5, at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo. The video includes live performances by SAGOSAID and guest artist Lovely Summer-chan, along with behind-the-scenes footage.
