Yuki Chiba’s Nippon Budokan concert on Thursday will feature King Giddra as a guest act and Murda Beatz as a special guest DJ.
Formed by K Dub Shine, Zeebra, and DJ Oasis, King Giddra has had a huge influence on the Japanese hip-hop scene since the 1990s. They also participated in Chiba’s album released in May 2024, “Team Tomodachi The Remixes.” With this announcement, nine artists who contributed to the album, including previously revealed names like SKY-HI and ¥ellow Bucks, are confirmed to perform at the Budokan show.
Murda Beatz, appearing as the special guest DJ, is a world-renowned producer known for working with artists like Drake, Travis Scott, Cardi B, and Ariana Grande. Alongside the concert announcement, the music video for “Maybach,” a collaboration between Chiba and Murda Beatz released on May 27 (Tuesday), was also unveiled. The video was shot in Los Angeles.
Tickets for the Budokan show “Yuki Chiba — STAR LIVE” are now on sale through Lawson Ticket, Ticket Pia, and eplus.
