Foo Fighters Announce First Japan Headlining Shows in 17 Years — Saitama and Kobe Dates Set for October
Foo Fighters are set to return to Japan this fall for their first headlining concerts in the country in 17 years. The band will perform at Saitama Super Arena on Tuesday, October 7, followed by a show at G-Lion Arena Kobe in Hyogo on Friday, October 10.
Led by vocalist and guitarist Dave Grohl, former drummer of Nirvana, Foo Fighters have become one of the most influential rock bands of their generation. Over the course of their career, they’ve earned 15 Grammy Awards, surpassed 32 million albums sold worldwide, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021. In 2022, they released The Essential Foo Fighters, a compilation of their biggest hits and fan favorites.
While the band has performed at major Japanese festivals including FUJI ROCK (2015 and 2023) and SUMMER SONIC (2017), this will mark their long-awaited return to Japanese stages for a solo tour.
Ticket pre-sale (lottery) for the general public is now open and will be available until Sunday, June 1. In addition, a priority lottery pre-sale for SMASH paid members will run from Friday, May 23 at 10:00 AM to Monday, May 26 at 6:00 PM.
