The ‘The Light Tour’ by JJJ has been announced.
Originally, the tour was set to begin on June 8 (Sunday) in Hiroshima, with stops in five cities across Japan. However, following the sudden passing of JJJ on April 13 (Sunday), the tour was initially canceled. Despite this, preparations for stage production and merchandise were still underway up until his passing. After consultations with the team who had worked on JJJ’s recent live shows, as well as his friends and family, it has been decided that the tour will go on, now scheduled for two locations in Tokyo and Osaka.
The Tokyo performance will take place as originally planned on June 19 (Thursday) at Kanadevia Hall (TOKYO DOME CITY HALL) in Suidobashi. The Osaka performance will be held on November 30 (Sunday) at Zepp Namba, in addition to the schedule that had been planned as an extra performance.
The lineup of performers has been updated from the initially announced “JJJ w/ Aru-2” to “JJJ w/ Aru-2 & Step Bros.” DJ KID FRESINO and 16FLIP will now perform at the Tokyo show, while DJ KID FRESINO, GRADIS NICE, and DJ SCRATCH NICE will appear at the Osaka show.
Tickets are currently available for official pre-sale lottery applications until May 18 (Sunday), with general sales starting on May 24 (Saturday).
“The Light Tour” was initially planned with performances in five cities: Hiroshima on June 8, Kanazawa on June 15, Tokyo on June 19, Hamamatsu on June 23, and Okinawa on July 6. An additional performance in Osaka was also planned for November 30, before the announcement was made.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to the customers who had already made reservations, as well as to the venue and event staff, and the performers, as we had to issue a cancellation notice after the presale ticket period had already started.
Until shortly before his passing, JJJ was involved in discussions regarding stage production and merchandise creation. After consulting with the staff who had worked on his recent live shows, as well as his friends and family, we have decided to move forward with holding the live performances. Although we would have loved to hold all of the originally planned shows, we have decided to scale down the tour to two locations, Tokyo and Osaka, considering the absence of JJJ and the shorter preparation period.
We will put all of our energy into bringing the stage that JJJ envisioned to life, and we sincerely hope that the fans who have supported him will come to watch.

It has also been confirmed that JJJ will headline DAY2 of the hip-hop festival ‘POP YOURS,’ scheduled to take place on May 24 (Saturday) and May 25 (Sunday) at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
