The complete lineup for FRICTION P, set to take place at Club METRO in Kyoto on April 28 (Monday), has been unveiled.
Produced by the creative agency CAMBR, FRICTION P is a spin-off of the event series FRICTION. The inaugural edition was held on March 8 at Omotesando WALL&WALL in Tokyo, and while FRICTION featured established artists and creators, FRICTION P promises an even more cutting-edge lineup, showcasing the next generation of talent with a more chaotic and edgy feel.
This will be the first time the event is hosted in the Kansai region. Among the previously announced acts are imai (group_inou), Kenmochi Hidefumi, Metome, Suiso (DJ set), Kazumichi Komatsu, Le Makeup, and E.O.U. Joining them in the final lineup are Maezawa, Q-Rin, and tqm, rounding out the total number of acts to 10. Additionally, VJs osirasekita, Ryuichi Ono, and poifull will also perform at the event.
Tickets for FRICTION P are currently available for purchase through Zaiko. Additionally, a limited number of 2DAYS TICKETS are available for both FRICTION P and the following day’s event, Shut to Toru Yatsu vol.5, which also takes place at Club METRO in Kyoto on April 29. Shut to Toru Yatsu vol.5 will feature performances by Kenmochi Hidefumi and others.
