The first official documentary about the iconic rock band Led Zeppelin, ”BECOMING LED ZEPPELIN”, is set to be released in Japan in the fall of 2025. Along with the announcement, a teaser trailer has been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the band’s legendary journey.
Led Zeppelin, who celebrated their 55th anniversary in 2023, are one of the most influential rock bands in history, having earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and receiving the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Their upcoming documentary offers a deep dive into the formation of the band, showcasing rare archival footage, early live performances, and previously unreleased audio recordings of drummer John Bonham. The film also includes personal testimonies from surviving members of the band, shedding light on their experiences during the band’s early years.
The teaser trailer gives fans a first look at never-before-seen family photos, private footage from the band’s pre-debut days, and archival footage from the group’s early formation. The current band members also share their reflections on those formative moments, providing an intimate look at their rise to fame.
