kurayamisaka Announces First-Ever Nationwide Headlining Tour: “With Love, From Kurayamisaka Tour”
Formed in Ōimachi, Tokyo, kurayamisaka is a five-piece rock band whose sound blends the playfulness of early-2000s alternative music with the charm of J-pop. The band has gained widespread attention for their distinctive style, and in 2024, they were selected to perform on the ROOKIE A GO-GO stage at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL. In 2025, kurayamisaka became the only Japanese act featured in NME’s “THE NME 100: Essential Emerging Artists for 2025,” a global list spotlighting 100 up-and-coming artists. They were also chosen for the Japanese edition of Rolling Stone’s international series “Future of Music,” further solidifying their growing international acclaim.
The upcoming tour, titled “With Love, From Kurayamisaka Tour”, kicks off in Sendai on Saturday, September 27, and will take the band to six cities across Japan: Sendai, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, and Kawasaki. For kurayamisaka, the shows in Sendai, Sapporo, and Fukuoka will mark their first-ever live performances in those cities. The tour will conclude at CLUB CITTA’ in Kawasaki, a venue with a capacity of 1,300—their largest solo show to date and the most ambitious tour in the band’s history.
Tickets for “With Love, From Kurayamisaka Tour” are currently available via a pre-sale lottery on e+ through Sunday, April 27. Notably, every kurayamisaka headlining show so far has sold out immediately. Their recently announced co-headlining tour, celebrating the April 9 digital release of their long-awaited new song “sekisei inko” (their first in nearly a year), also sold out instantly upon ticket release.
