The first-ever “nambar forest’25” event is set to take place at Namba Parks, a large mixed-use commercial complex in Osaka, on April 26-27 and May 3-4, 2025.
Hosted by Nankai Electric Railway, the event will feature both an outdoor music festival and a night theater. The music festival will offer free live performances from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on both April 26 and 27, with three stages set up within Namba Parks. The night theater will screen SING on May 3 (Saturday, public holiday) and Dreamgirls on May 4 (Sunday, public holiday), both projected onto the wall of the Park Garden on the 8th floor. These screenings will be free of charge for attendees.
The music festival will feature a total of 10 acts. On April 26 (Saturday), performances will include Shohei Araya, Ayaka Tatano (Homecomings), Shin Manako, Easycome, and MIZ. On April 27 (Sunday), the lineup will include Soji Saki, Veranda, Lucky Old Sun, Lucky Seven, and jean. Additional artists and a detailed schedule will be announced on the official event website.
In addition to the performances, there will be collaborations with Namba Parks and neighboring tenants in Namba CITY. Tower Records will set up a photo spot, while Asahiya Bookstore will hold an exhibition and sale of books related to the event’s artists and the music festival.
