Ichiko Aoba has announced the upcoming band-format concert Reflections of Luminescent Creatures.
On February 28, Aoba released her first album in about four years, Luminescent Creatures, and is currently on her largest world tour to date, the Luminescent Creatures World Tour. The band-format concert will kick off on Wednesday, August 13, at Tokyo’s Akasaka Suntory Hall (Main Hall), followed by performances at Yokohama Minatomirai Hall (Main Hall) on Monday, August 18, Tokyo’s Sumida Triphony Hall (Main Hall) on Wednesday, August 20, and two shows at NHK Osaka Hall on Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23.
The concert will feature Aoba along with a ten-member band: Taro Umebayashi (Piano), Masashi Machida (Violin), Yurina Arai (Violin), Rachel Yui Mikuni (Viola), Yukihou Obatake (Cello), Ikumi Maruchi (Contrabass), Tomoyuki Asakawa (Harp), Jeon Ina (Flute), and Manami Kadokudo (Percussion).
Pre-sale tickets for Reflections of Luminescent Creatures will be available via eplus until Sunday, March 9, with general sales starting on Saturday, May 10.
In addition, Aoba will perform a solo concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Her world tour will also include new dates in South America, with stops in São Paulo (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Santiago (Chile) in November 2024.
