“Endless Midnight” is a new single set to be released as part of KAGAMI’s upcoming Japanese debut EP TIME MACHINE, due this spring. The track features Hikari, the lead singer of the Tokyo-based band Mime, formed in 2014, as well as the R&B singer known for her collaborations with Tokimeki Records, a group that reimagines J-Pop classics with modern arrangements. Inspired by 1980s slow jams and city pop icons like Tomoko Aran, the track blends melancholic sounds with a modern twist on Japanese pop music from the ’80s and ’90s.
The TIME MACHINE EP will also include tracks featuring artists such as Kan Sano and kiki vivi lily. Each song is crafted like a mirror (KAGAMI), guiding listeners on an emotional journey through self-reflection and discovery.
