the telephones will hold a special one-man live performance to celebrate their 20th anniversary on May 24 (Saturday) at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE in Shibuya, Tokyo, with tickets priced at 2,005 yen.
duo MUSIC EXCHANGE holds a special place for The Telephones, as it has been the venue for numerous important moments, including the final show of their 2008 tour celebrating the release of their first full album, JAPAN. The venue has become a home for the band, and they will also host an event in January 2025 with Taiwan’s PAPUN BAND.
During this anniversary performance, the band will mainly showcase tracks from their major debut album DANCE FLOOR MONSTERS, released in 2009. The night will feature “monster-level” danceable rock, as the title suggests.
Tickets are currently available for the official early access and mobile fan club pre-sale until Sunday, February 16. The ticket price of 2,005 yen is a special “celebration price” in honor of the band’s 20th anniversary, referencing their formation in 2005.
