the cabs Announces Reunion and 2025 Solo Tour “Rebirth Landscape”
the cabs, the three-piece band consisting of Yoshikatsu Shutou, Kunimitsu Takahashi, and Itta Nakamura, has announced their reunion after disbanding in 2013. Their solo tour, “the cabs tour 2025 ‘Rebirth Landscape,'” will begin on August 4, 2025, with a performance at Tokyo’s Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. The tour will also make stops in Nagoya at THE BOTTOM LINE and Osaka at Shinsaibashi BIGCAT. The band’s new visual and logo for the tour were created by illustrator Ai Kawano, known for designing the band’s CD covers. Ticket pre-sale reservations are available via eplus until January 19.
Additionally, the band’s past works, Ichiban Hajime no Dekigoto (The First Event), Kaiki suru Kokyuu (Returning Breath), and Saisei no Fukei (Rebirth Landscape), will be reissued on vinyl. All tracks have been remastered, and the reissues are scheduled for release in summer 2025 via Perfect Music. Pre-order reservations began on January 9 and will be accepted until April 25.
