Terrada Warehouse has announced the launch of the “TERRADA ART AWARD 2025.”
The “TERRADA ART AWARD” was initiated in 2014 as a contemporary art award aimed at supporting emerging artists. It has been conducted with a focus on nurturing artists who can thrive on the global stage, featuring judges with international perspectives and deep insights into contemporary art.
In the previous edition, the “TERRADA ART AWARD 2023,” over 1,000 entries were submitted from both domestic and international artists. The finalists included Kanemitsu Yu, Tomiyasu Yuma, Harada Hiroki, Murakami Kei, and Yantu. An exhibition featuring the finalists was held in January 2024 at G3-6F in Tennozu, Tokyo.

The application period for the “TERRADA ART AWARD 2025” is from November 20 (Wednesday) to January 31, 2025 (Friday) at 18:00. After the first and final judging periods, the five finalists will be announced on September 10, 2025 (Wednesday), and the “TERRADA ART AWARD 2025 Finalists Exhibition” will be held starting January 15, 2026 (Thursday). The five finalists will create their works using a production budget of 3 million yen based on the “exhibition plan” submitted during the final judging. The venue will be an event space renovated from warehouse space.
