Mark Leckie’s solo exhibition “FIORUCCI MADE ME HARDCORE FEAT. BIG RED SOUNDSYSTEM” will be held at Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo in Omotesando, Tokyo from Thursday, February 22 to Sunday, August 18.
Mark Leckie is a British artist who won the Turner Prize for Contemporary Art in 2008, and is known for his sculptures, video, sound, and performance works that intersect pop culture and counterculture. In 2023, he presented a collaborative collection with Supreme.
This exhibition is part of the “Hors-les-murs” program, in which works from the collection of the Fondation Louis Vuitton, a Parisian art institution, are exhibited at Espace Louis Vuitton stores around the world. The video work “Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore (10th anniversary remastered edition)” and the 2013 work “Felix the Cat” will be exhibited. Admission to the exhibition is free.
