The group show “20 YEARS OF HIDDEN CHAMPION” by the free magazine “HIDDEN CHAMPION” will be held at SAI Gallery in Shibuya, Tokyo from September 29 (Fri) to October 15 (Sun).
HIDDEN CHAMPION” is a free magazine that introduces various cultures such as art, photography, skateboarding, fashion, and music, and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2023. For this group show, the magazine has curated a selection of artists that it has actually covered, including world-class artists that the magazine considers important in the context of street culture, and artists that it has grown together with through collaborations and other means. By displaying the works of these artists active in the same era in a single space, the magazine will create an exhibition that can only be seen now.
In conjunction with the exhibition, a second archive book, ARCHIVES 2, will be released, featuring excerpts from the past contents of HIDDEN CHAMPION.
