The exhibition “Iruka no Iruka wa Karui no Karui” by AC bu will be held from September 6 (Wed) to 19 (Tue) at Isetan Shinjuku Main Building, 6th Floor Art Gallery in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The exhibition focuses on the character “Iruka no Irukakun” created by AC bu as a healing therapist in the music video for the song “THERAPY” released by the music unit group_inou in 2010.
The theme of the exhibition is the world spun by “Iruka no Irukakun” in palindromes, and about 50 works, including canvas paintings and giclees, all new works, will be exhibited.
In addition, a picture book entitled “Iruka no Iruka wa Karui no Karui” (published by Crevis), which consists of all the artwork with palindromes, will be specially sold at the exhibition venue prior to the general release of the book.
