The film “QT8: The First Eight” will open in theaters nationwide on August 11 at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya, Shinjuku Cinema Karite, and others.
The film is a documentary in which actors, producers, and staff members who appeared in Tarantino’s films from his first “Reservoir Dogs” to his eighth “The Hateful Eight” reveal anecdotes and secret stories about Tarantino without taboos. Directed by Tara Wood, who also directed the acclaimed Richard Linklater documentary “21 YEARS: RICHARD LINKLATER”.
To commemorate the release of the film, Filmarks’ project Pre-Ticket, which re-releases classic films in movie theaters, will also present a revival of Tarantino’s first film, “Pulp Fiction,” which will be screened at 36 theaters nationwide for a limited two-week period starting on August 11.
