AOMORI GOKAN Art Fest” will be held at five museums and art centers in Aomori Prefecture from April 13 (Sat) to September 1 (Sun), 2024.
The venues, Aomori Museum of Art, Aomori Contemporary Art Center, Aomori Public University, Hirosaki Renga Soko Museum, Hachinohe City Museum of Art, and Towada Museum of Contemporary Art, have been implementing the “Five Museums Stimulate the Five Senses – AOMORI GOKAN” project to promote art experiences in Aomori since 2020.
The “AOMORI GOKAN Art Fest,” which will be held for the first time at the five museums, is based on the theme of “Tsuranari no Harappa,” and includes exhibitions, projects, performances, and other programs that take advantage of each museum’s unique characteristics.
The logo by Shingo Noma, who also designed the logo for the first year of the “AOMORI GOKAN” project, has also been unveiled. Details of the event will be announced in October.
