Do We Really know Monet?
“Monet: The Late Waterscapes” will be held at the Kyocera Museum of Art in Kyoto from Friday, March 7, to Sunday, June 8, 2025. Afterward, it is scheduled to travel to the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art in Aichi.
When you think about it, Monet’s career spanned approximately 50 years, yet he participated in Impressionist exhibitions for only about five of them. There’s no doubt that Monet was a leading figure of the Impressionist movement. But do we truly know this master? This exhibition offers fresh insights into the allure of Monet’s later years and his relentless thirst for creation. Be sure to visit the museum and experience firsthand the vibrant colors that no online image can ever capture.
