Philippines-born P-pop group SB19 have released their new album “Wakas at Simula” on March 27, marking a major turning point in their career.
The 24-track project signals the close of one chapter and the start of another, showcasing the group’s evolving sound and global ambitions. Highlights include “Toyfriend” with BE:FIRST, “Emoji” featuring JOLIN, the R&B-leaning “Memories,” and the hip-hop-driven “Everblack,” alongside re-recorded tracks from their 2021 EP “Pagsibol.”
SB19’s momentum continues to build internationally. Following a successful Japan stop at Zepp Haneda in September 2025, the group is set to appear at major festivals in 2026, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and SUMMER SONIC.
Reflecting on the release, the members describe “Wakas at Simula” as a defining moment: a project that closes a chapter they’ve worked to establish, while opening the door to a more confident and freely expressive future.
