Ayumu Imazu is set to release his new single “Superstar” on August 2 (Friday).
Born in 2000, Ayumu Imazu hails from Osaka and is a global artist based in both the United States and Japan. Leveraging his dance skills developed from a young age and his bilingual abilities in Japanese and English, he handles everything from songwriting to dance choreography. His January 2024 track “Obsessed” topped the Korean Billboard “Japan Songs” chart for five consecutive weeks and achieved viral success across Asia. His digital single “Where Do We Go!” released on July 5 was chosen as the theme song for Pocari Sweat Hong Kong’s 2024 “Thank You Youth” commercial.
Ayumu Imazu’s new single “Superstar” is a groovy dance track that encapsulates his past and future identity. The song’s Pre-Add / Pre-Save campaign is now live across various streaming platforms. It will make its debut on J-WAVE’s “SONAR MUSIC” on July 25 (Thursday). Along with this announcement, new artist photos have also been released.
Ayumu Imazu is set to perform at “ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2024” on August 10 (Saturday) and “SUMMER SONIC 2024” on August 17 (Saturday). These events will be the stage for the first live performances of both “Superstar” and “Where Do We Go!”
