Idol group Phantom Theta, produced by vocalist Ado, released the music video for their debut song “Otomodachi” on June 26th at 7:00 PM.
Phantom Theta, a “retro horror” idol group comprising Momo, Miu, Rinka, Tosui, and Hyakka, selected from approximately 4,000 applicants in an audition held in November 2023. They debuted with their first single “Otomodachi,” which was released for digital distribution at midnight on June 26th.
“Otomodachi” features lyrics, composition, and arrangement by Koharu from Charan-Po-Rantan. The music video was directed by Kotarou Nogami, known for works like Chevon’s “Daikoshin.” Ado, the producer, revealed on social media that this was their first time directing vocals for someone else, sparking discussions online.
