The 90-second trailer and new scene photos of the film “MEDUSA DELUXE,” which will be released on October 14 (Sat.) at Theater Image Forum and other theaters nationwide, have been released.
The film is a British film that attracted attention when A24, a production/distribution company that produced “Hereditary,” “Midsummer,” and “Everything Everywhere at Once,” acquired the North American distribution rights. The film is a one-shot mystery surrounding the murder of a charismatic hairdresser that occurred just before a hair contest.
Directed and written by Thomas Hardiman, whose parents are hairdressers, the film received support from the British Film Institute and BBC Film to produce this, his first feature film. The hairstylist for the film is Eugene Suleiman, who also worked on Lady Gaga.
