Hiroshi Okamoto

Born in Tokyo in 1990. Graduated from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. While in school, studied sociology and anthropology, and frequently visited Eastern Africa. After graduation, worked for a video production company before going independent. While working mainly in magazines, web media, and advertising, she focuses on the relationship between society and the individual, and creates works that take the social background and social structure as their subject matter, showing them both in Japan and abroad. His work has won the runner-up prize at the Dummy Award Kassel in Germany, been published in overseas magazines such as Foam Magazine in the Netherlands and Le Monde in France, and his photo book “Recruit” was selected as one of the 10 best photo books by Italian Vogue magazine in 2016.

Rika Tomomatsu

Born in Gifu Prefecture and currently resides in Tokyo. He is a photographer, filmmaker, and a member of the publishing unit "(TT) press".

Haruya Nakajima

Born in 1989 in Kanagawa Prefecture. He has been involved in a wide variety of activities as an independent artist, such as contemporary art, writing, and rap music, while engaging with a variety of places and people. Lecturer at "Contemporary Art Kitchen Gate" at the School of Aesthetics. Member of the project team "Nozarashi. Major solo exhibitions include "Breathe Tokyo through your nose and dance" (gallery αM, 2019-2020), curated "SURVIBIA!" (NEWTOWN, 2018), group exhibition "RE : FACTORY" (Terada Warehouse G1 Building, 2023), album "From Insect Cage" (Stag Beat, 2016), and book "Oil on Townscape" (Ronsosha, 2022).

Narika Niihara

Writer and editor, born in Kagoshima in 1991, graduated from the Faculty of Integrated Human Studies, Kyoto University. After working in Kagawa (Teshima) and Tokyo, currently lives in Osaka. After working as a staff member at an art museum and as an editorial assistant for the web version of "Bijutsu Techo", she became a freelance writer. In addition to producing articles focusing on interviews, planning and editing, book writing, and various other work related to writing, she also independently produces books of essays and tanka poems.

Masaru Yokota

After working as an editor for books, magazines, and web media, and creating advertisements mainly for websites, he became independent and established Camp Inc. in 2017, a creative company that "creates tolerance in the world with eccentricity. He has been involved in NiEW as a director since the launch of the site.
