音楽家 / 映像作家。1979年生まれ、京都府出身、兵庫県在住。長く親しんでいるピアノを奏でた音楽、世界を旅しながら撮影した“動く絵画“のような映像、両方を手掛ける。NHK連続テレビ小説『おかえりモネ』、映画『おおかみこどもの雨と雪』『バケモノの子』『未来のミライ』『違国日記』などの音楽を手がける。近作は、山村にある自宅の窓を開け自然を招き入れたピアノ曲集『マージナリア』、エッセイ集『こといづ』。

Born in 1970 in Fenyang, Shanxi Province, China, he entered the Literature Department of Beijing Film Academy in 1993. His first feature film, “A Momentary Dream,” had its world premiere in the Forum section of the 1998 Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Wolfgang Staute Award for Best New Director, as well as the Grand Prix at the Pusan International Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, and Festival of the 3 Continents in Nantes, attracting great international attention. In 2006, he won the Golden Lion (Grand Prix) at the Venice International Film Festival for “Yangtze River Lamentations,” set in the ancient city of Fongje, which is under water due to the construction of the Three Gorges Dam; in 2013, he won the Best Screenplay Award at the Cannes International Film Festival for “The Touch of Sin;” in 2003, he won the Golden Carriage Award sponsored by the French Directors Association at the Cannes International Film Festival. 2024年始動。VoのTPを中心に構成された音楽プロジェクト。エレクトロミュージックを基軸に、民族音楽や民謡などを掛け合わせたオルタナティブな楽曲を展開する。結成1年目にして、りんご音楽祭、TAMARIBA FESTIVAL、TAMATAMA FESTIVAL等、様々な音楽フェスに出演。また、NHK Eテレドラマ「聞けなかった あのこと」にて寺尾紗穂と共作で主題歌を担当。精力的に活動を展開している。

静岡県出身。『ラブライブ！』や『戦姫絶唱シンフォギア』に参加。『キミとアイドルプリキュア♪』では、キュアズキューン /プリルン役を担当。

1991年、モンゴル・ウランバートル出身。モンゴル歌唱の伝統とジャズ即興の間に、自然体でありながら温かく繊細な感情に満ちた声を交差させるアーティスト。幼少期はユルト（移動式住居）で育ち、モンゴルの伝統的唱法「オルティンドー（長歌）」を学び、民謡と舞踊にも親しむ。ウランバートルで音楽教育の学士号を取得後、2014年、ゲーテ・インスティトゥートのプログラムに参加し、ミュンヘンの音楽大学でジャズを学ぶ。『FESTIVAL de FRUE 2025』で初めての来日を控える。

Critic. Born in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, in 1964. After working at an arthouse cinema, he began contributing to film and music-related media. In 1995, he launched “HEADZ,” handling CD releases, artist bookings, concert and event planning and production, and magazine publishing, while also engaging in criticism spanning film, music, literature, theater, art, and other genres. Since 2001, he has served as a part-time lecturer at Keio University, Musashino Art University, Tokyo University of the Arts, and others. He has also held positions including Visiting Professor at Waseda University's School of Letters and Chief Lecturer at Genron's “Criticism Regeneration School.” Co-owner of the multi-space “SCOOL.” Currently serves as Chief Lecturer for the Language Expression Course “School of Words” at the Film School of Japan, Part-time Lecturer at Waseda University, and Adjunct Lecturer at Rikkyo University. Author of numerous books. His latest publication is “Made in Japan: How to Sell Japanese Culture Overseas” (Shueisha Shinsho).
