Daigo Matsui

Director and co-writer, born in 1985 in Fukuoka Prefecture. He is the leader of the theater company GODIGEN. He made his directorial debut with "Afro Tanaka" (2012). In 2020, he published his first novel, "See You Again Family. In addition to working on the drama series "By Players," he is a navigator on J-WAVE's "RICOH JUMP OVER.

A comedy duo belonging to Yoshimoto Kogyo, consisting of Ishikawa (born June 18, 1994, Kyoto Prefecture) and Takeshi Azuma (born October 21, 1994, Kyoto Prefecture). They were high school classmates who entered NSC Osaka as 37th graders and formed the duo, which began regular appearances on “Midnight Honey” (Fuji Television) in April 2023, and graduated from the Osaka Yoshimoto Manzai Theater in March 2024, moving their base of activities to Tokyo. Currently based at the Jimbocho Yoshimoto Manzai Theater.

Yugawa began her career as a singer-songwriter in 2011, releasing her first full-length album “Tabiji” in 2015; in 2022, she produced the album “On a Night Without Words” with her ally, the members of the Magical Band, and performed at tour live shows and festivals throughout Japan. As Yuuga with Magical Band, he sang the theme song and accompaniment for the NHK drama “Tsukihoku no Yoru wa” and released the soundtrack “Tsukihoku no Yoru wa” for distribution in March 2023. 4 September 2024, he released his 4th album “Love Deluxe”. Her wide-ranging activities include narrating and singing for TV commercials, sound logos, and musicals. She is also active as Jane Jade with Sakura Fujiwara and Yuga.

Writer. born in Saitama, Japan in 1976. Lover of predatory eating, noodle-making machines, Ise udon noodles, vegetable gardening, fishing, and cooking. Noodle writer. Author of “Business Trip Busy Hotel Ryoroku,” “I Made Menma with Overgrown Bamboo Shoots,” “Hobby Noodle Making,” “Catching and Eating,” “Catching and Eating,” “Let's Make! An insubstantial gathering consisting of human relationships centered on the playwright “Ryu Motohashi”. The characteristic of their creative process is to seamlessly move between realistic depictions of daily life and the illusion of the subconscious, with a bird's-eye view of what is theater, to create a “young fairy tale” with a uniquely vivid and sparkling atmosphere. His work “Moving Object” won the Grand Prize at the 2009 Hokkaido Drama Awards. Since then, his works “Changing Jobs” and “Nagi” have won the Excellence Award for two consecutive years. He has won the “Hokkaido Drama Award” for three consecutive years.

Kaoru Hashimoto

Helsinki Lambda Club, a genre-blurring trio from Chiba, Japan, has been redefining the indie rock scene since their formation in the summer of 2013. Fronted by the charismatic Kaoru Hashimoto (Vo, G), with the rhythmic backbone of Kota Inaba (B, Cho) and the dynamic guitar stylings of Taiki Kumagai (G), the band has carved a unique space with their quirky charm and fearless creativity.

In 2023, they celebrated a decade of sonic exploration with their third full-length album, Welcome to Helsinki Lambda Club, a vibrant invitation to their ever-evolving world. 2024 saw them stepping onto the international stage with performances at SXSW in the U.S. and The Great Escape in Brighton, marking their inaugural UK tour. They capped off the year with the release of their experimental EP, Monthly Escape, and launched the aptly titled Escape from the Winter General tour, bringing their genre-defying energy to 11 cities across Japan. Always pushing boundaries, Helsinki Lambda Club continues to craft music that's as unpredictable as it is unforgettable.

This Japanese band has a growing fan base among music lovers in Japan and abroad. The band features a wide range of musical styles created by Suzuki Xun, world-view vocals by Inoue Kazuki, tight and flexible rhythm drumming by Isomoto Yuta, and support members who join in the best possible way to express their music. The scale of their one-man live shows has been expanding each time they perform, with a sold-out show at Zepp Shinjuku in November 2024, and upcoming shows at Osaka Castle Concert Hall and Tokyo International Forum Hall C in April 2025.

Hiromi Uehara

Born in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1979. While a student at Berklee College of Music, he signed a contract with the prestigious jazz label Telarc and made his world debut in 2003 with the album “Another Mind”. Since then, he has released a series of albums as his own trio, project, solo, and collaborations with Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Akiko Yano, and others. He won the 53rd Grammy Award for “Best Contemporary Jazz Album,” ranked No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Jazz Chart, and appeared on the cover of “Downbeat” twice. Hiromi's Sonicwonder “OUT THERE”, to be released in April 2025, will be his 14th leader album.

Formed "Macaroni Empitsu" in 2012. He is the main songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist in the band. With her emotional voice, catchy melodies, and unique lyrics, she is popular among people of all ages and has sung theme songs for numerous commercials, movies, and TV dramas. He won the Best New Artist Award at the "Japan Record Awards," and the following year he won the Best Picture Award for the second year in a row! In addition to his band activities, he has participated as a narrator in NHK's program "Words of the Great Archived by NHK" and published his first lyrics collection "Kotoba no Tane" (Seeds of Words), which has become a topic of conversation.

Kanako Nishi

Born in Tehran, Iran in 1977 and raised in Cairo, Egypt and Osaka, Japan. Won the Sakunosuke Oda Award in 2007 for "Tsutenkaku", the Hayao Kawai Story Award in 2001 for "Fukurara", and the Naoki Award in 2003 for "Saraba! Naoki Prize in 2003 for "Saraba! His many books include "Sakura," "Round Table," "Fisherman's Port: The Meat Boy," "Furu," "Makuko," "i," and "Omajinai. His first nonfiction book, "Kumo wo Sasagasu," was published in April of this year.

Shin Kokawa

Born in Kyoto in 1984 and currently living in Kyoto, he started playing drums in junior high school and after working as a drummer for jizue, he is currently touring Southeast Asia alone as a solo artist, collaborating with domestic artists and producing and releasing his first solo album "ANIMA" with Shun Ishiwaka, Masanao Matsushita, Kei Yamamoto and others in 2020. From 2021, he has been active in a duo unit with didgeridoo player GOMA and kyoto experimental piano trio "kotto". In 2024, he released his second album, "touch the sub conscious", which featured a collection of renowned top players.
