1991年より大人計画に参加。脚本家として2001年映画『GO』で「第25回日本アカデミー賞最優秀脚本賞」他多数の脚本賞を受賞。以降もテレビドラマ『あまちゃん』『いだてん〜東京オリムピック噺〜』など話題作の脚本を手掛ける。2005年『真夜中の弥次さん喜多さん』で長編映画監督デビュー。俳優としても数々の作品に出演する。待機作に、映画『こんにちは、母さん』（出演 / 9月1日公開）、映画『ゆとりですがなにか インターナショナル』（脚本 / 10月13日公開）などがある。

Born in 1985 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Filmmaker. Graduated from Tokai University, Department of Literature, Literature and Creative Writing, and completed the 12th Fiction Course at the Film School of Tokyo, Japan, and directed his first feature film in 2014 with "Spiral Galaxy". His second feature film, "The Kingdom (or About That House)" (2018), was selected by the British Film Institute as one of the "Outstanding Japanese Films of the Years 1925-2019" in 2019.In December 2023, "The Kingdom (or About That House)" will be released in theaters for three weeks.

Film director and screenwriter. Notable works include “Noroi” (2005), “Kuchisake Onna” (2007), “Occult” and ‘Grotesque’ (2009), the video series “Senritsu Kaiki File: Too Scary!” (2012-), *The Record of a Kind-Hearted Murderer* (2014), *Sadako vs. Kayako* (2016), *The Unpunishable* (2018), *Welcome to the Occult Forest THE MOVIE* and *I Love You!* (2022), *Chilling Horror World: Too Scary!* (2023), *Sayuri* (2024), and the streaming drama *The Song of the Outcast* (2024).

写真家。早稲田大学第一文学部仏文科卒業。写真集に『BABY BABY』（2007）、『未来ちゃん（2011）、『明星』（2014）、谷川俊太郎との共著『おやすみ神たち』（2014）、『ファーストアルバム』（2016）、小橋陽介との共著『飛びます』（2019）、『violet diary』（2019）、『おはようもしもしあいしてる』（2020）、『（世界）²』（2021）。『サランラン』（2025）。第42回講談社出版文化賞写真賞、第40回木村伊兵衛写真賞を受賞。現在ソウル美術館にて個展「サランラン」開催中。

1985年高知県生まれ。東京を拠点に活動。ドキュメンタリー手法を軸に、藤井⾵、back number、吉井和哉、anoなど様々なアーティストのドキュメンタリー映像やMusicVideoを監督。2020 年に監督した優⾥「ドライフラワー」MV は現在までに2億回再⽣を越える。また、2025年に監督したback number「ブルーアンバー」MVは、実在するドラァグクイーンを主役としたドキュメンタリーとフィクションが入り混じった内容が話題となる。ドキュメンタリー作品としては、俳優・東出昌⼤の狩猟⽣活に１年間密着したドキュメン タリー映画『WILL』を2024年に劇場公開。2⽇間で14万⼈を動員した藤井⾵の⽇産スタジアムライブに密着したドキュメント作品「Feelin' Good (Documentary)」、SUPER EIGHT の安⽥章⼤がアイヌ⽂化を取材するテレビ番組「Wonder Culture Trip―FACT―」などを2024年に公開。また実在する独身プログラマーを主人公に起用し、現代の東京の独身生活をリアルに描いた短編映画『献呈』が2025年のモスクワ国際映画祭 短編コンペティション部門に日本人としてはじめてノミネートされた。

Born in 1993 in Tokyo. Joined NHK in 2016. Director, Social Programs Department, News Division. Produces documentaries focusing on themes such as war, culture, and art, primarily for NHK Special and Close-up Gendai. While working in news reporting, he also pursues visual expression emphasizing documentary integrity and poetic quality. For the NHK Special “Last Days: Ryuichi Sakamoto's Final Days” (2024), he received the Rose d'Or Award (Best in Art), the Special Award from the President of the Italian Republic, and the Italia Award (TV & Performing Arts). The program was nominated for and selected as a finalist for the International Emmy Awards, and also won the Galaxy Award Encouragement Prize. Other works include the NHK Special “Yukio Mishima: The ‘Youth Theory’ 50 Years Later” (2020). The film “Ryuichi Sakamoto: Diaries” was his directorial debut, produced while he was with NHK Enterprises.

俳優・歌手・レトロワグラース代表。2016年に持続可能な調和社会の実現に向け「レトロワグラース」を設立。近年では、TBSテレビ金曜ドラマ『インビジブル』、映画『沈黙のパレード』、映画『月の満ち欠け』、映画『Dr.コトー診療所』など数多くの作品に出演。2023年公開のジブリアニメーション映画『君たちはどう生きるか』では声優を務めて話題に。

After serving on the editorial board of “Cahiers du Cinema Japon”, he established the label “boid” in 1998 to produce and sell videos, books, CDs, etc. Since 2004, he has planned and screened a series of Bakunon (explosive sound) screenings using a live sound system for music at the Baus Theater in Kichijoji, Tokyo. 映画監督。1973年7月27日生まれ。京都育ち。大学卒業後、日本映画学校（現：日本映画大学）に入学し3年間映画作りの面白さに浸る。2012年、自主長編映画『チチを撮りに』を制作、SKIPシティ国際Dシネマ映画祭にて日本人初の監督賞を受賞し、ベルリン国際映画祭を皮切りに各国の映画祭に招待され、国内外で14の賞に輝く。2016年、商業デビュー作『湯を沸かすほどの熱い愛』が、日本アカデミー賞・最優秀主演女優賞、最優秀助演女優賞など6部門受賞、国内映画賞で35冠、米アカデミー賞外国語映画部門の日本代表に選ばれる。2019年、初の原作モノとなる『長いお別れ』が、ロングランヒットに。2020年、『浅田家！』が、日本アカデミー賞・最優秀助演女優賞など8部門受賞。フランスで観客動員25万人を超えるヒットに。独自の感性と視点で、家族を描き続けている。

After that, he invited Yusuke Kume (Special Favorite Music) as a producer and released "Natsu no Boku ni mo" and "Lemon Tree" for distribution, attracting attention, and on March 22 (Wed.), She released a new song "Like You Like It".
