Shure has launched an exclusive sneaker designed to support the next generation of podcasters. A special giveaway campaign has been initiated for a chance to win these sneakers.
The “IGNITE the Podcasters” sneaker, creatively directed by TaiTan of Dos Monos, is designed specifically for aspiring podcasters. The shoe features a unique process where a serial number is embedded within the sole, becoming visible as the outsole wears off with use. The serial number can be exchanged for Shure’s new high-performance microphone, the “MV7i Smart Microphone & Interface,” set to be released on March 5th.

The design, concept, and production of the sneakers were handled by shoe artist Kenta Toda. The upper is crafted with Shure’s brand color, “Ignition Green,” paired with black, and features an enamel window covering the mesh fabric. This design creates a striking and unique look that stands out on the street.
TaiTan, the host of the popular podcast “Kiki Kaikai,” shared the following comment.
I teamed up with Shure to create the ‘IGNITE the Podcasters’ sneaker – a shoe made especially for anyone aspiring to be a podcaster. It’s probably the first of its kind in the world!
The best podcasts always feature hosts who speak from personal experience – stories they’ve lived and learned through their own footsteps. The words and passion are earned from their journey, not borrowed from somewhere else. That’s why the more the host walks, the more engaging their show becomes.
So I thought, if we could create something that makes everyone want to walk, maybe it would lead to even more fascinating podcasts.
And that’s how ‘IGNITE the Podcasters’ came to life.
Now here’s the exciting part: by simply wearing these sneakers, you can get a Shure high-performance microphone. What’s the catch?
As you walk, the sole gradually wears down, revealing a hidden serial number, which you can exchange for a microphone.
In other words, walking gives you a Shure mic and a chance to discover new podcast topics – how amazing is that?
This is a limited edition worldwide. If you’ve been wanting to start a podcast this year, or if you were on the verge of quitting, or if you just want to level up your show, I’m welcoming everyone to join in!
