Sony Music Entertainment has launched a new management and label venture called “Echoes.”
Echoes will represent YOASOBI, the duo consisting of composer Ayase and vocalist ikura, as well as Ayase and Rira Ikuta as solo artists. The label will also include the music project MAISONdes, known for its concept of “songs from the residents of a six-tatami-mat apartment somewhere,” former Akai Koen member Riko Ishino, the artist surii, rock band Aooo featuring Hikaru Yamamoto and Tsumiki. Additionally, Echoes will manage MECRE, a collaboration platform connecting various creators.
The media outlet “THE FIRST TIMES,” available on YouTube and their website, has published interviews with four staff members involved in the launch of Echoes.
